OUR MISSION.

Our mission is to create meaningful, beautiful spaces that honor the stories behind each piece and remind us that home is sacred. Guided by faith and intention, we seek to give our best in all we do and trust in God’s provision. Our hearts are especially drawn to orphans and foster children, and a small part of what we do goes toward supporting children in need. We believe every child deserves to feel loved, valued, and safe.

Our Heart.

Opening Alabaster and Sparrow was a dream planted by the Lord, born out of my love for thrifting vintage treasures and my desire to create beautiful spaces. Home has always been incredibly valuable to me, and over the last few years, my understanding of what "home" truly means has evolved and deepened. After experiencing my own struggle with a lack of security in home, I’ve come to realize that home is not just a physical place—it’s a reflection of our soul. It’s where we feel most ourselves, where our stories are written, and where our hearts are at peace.

The treasures I find while thrifting are more than just items—they hold stories and memories. By bringing them into our homes, we create spaces that reflect who we are and lift our spirits. Alabaster and Sparrow isn’t just a business; it’s about helping others appreciate their surroundings, inspire them to create meaningful spaces, and remind them that home is sacred.

The name Alabaster and Sparrow has deep meaning. Alabaster comes from Mark 14, where a woman pours expensive perfume on Jesus as an act of love and devotion. It represents giving our best to God in all that we do. Sparrow comes from Matthew 6, which reminds us that if God cares for the sparrow, He will also care for us. It reflects trusting in His unwavering love and believing that He will provide for our every need.
